March 2016

We've had a very silly month.

Zoe is now 19 months and loves being silly and making us laugh.

Dolly never liked her shoes anyway.

Every day she eats her own body weight in fruit.

This month her favorite seems to be raspberries

Zoe giving everyone the infamous "double-raspberry."  So rude.

Her creativity is off the charts and we're constantly amazed
at the new things she teaches herself to do.

We told Zoe to build a chair out of blocks.  Clever girl.

Adorbs.

She's still great in restaurants, too -- we went out to dinner with our friends
Kari and Dan.

Kari tells the funniest jokes.

She has started figuring out how to say a bunch of words, including her name.

She points at herself and says, "Zeee-EEEE!"

Here are a few other new words:

And she still loves books more than anything (except raspberries).

Zoe got this book from Grandpa and Grandma!  Thanks!

Kisses!!

Zoe also "reads" her books out loud which is pretty much
the cutest thing we've ever seen.

Here she is "reading" a few blank pages.

She even reads to Baby Natasha.

Zoe and Mommy love to explore the neighborhood.

There are ducks and egrets in the wash by our house.

Zoe went to a horse show at the Equestrian Center behind our house.

She loves swiping pictures on our phones and quickly figured out that she
could swipe a horse and get another one right behind it!

Swipe!

Zoe figured out a great way to burn off her energy -- by running the entire
Equidome stadium  (again and again and again...)

After we visited with this Donkey who lives behind our house.

He was super friendly and after we left he let out a huge He-HAAAWWW
so Zoe could hear what donkeys sound like.

Now when she hears him from afar (and you can really hear him)
she lights up and echoes his call.

Zoe also visited with her friend, Anna.

They are five days apart.

Zoe was gifted some wonderful finger puppets and loves to play with them.

Snack time with Elmo.

Apparently Elmo is a messy eater.

Zoe has also learned how to climb into her rocking chair by herself.

But you don't have to take my word for it!

Here is a video!

She's also learned how to climb into bed, onto the couch...

And this secret hiding space.

Oh darn, you found me.

Everyone stops us and compliments Zoe on her big, blue eyes.

Here are a couple beauty shots of the beauty.

We went to the Zoo and Zoe got to hang out with a
baby Monkey she shares a birthday with.

And a goat she shares an expression with.

And Dada.

Which brings us to the big event.

Zoe met the Easter Bunny!

She must've left a good impression because on Easter Sunday Zoe came down
in her cute Princess pajamas...

Hey, Zoe -- let's go downstairs!

Why...?

...the Easter bunny left Zoe so many presents!

Zoe found a new Easter train from Grammie and Grandad.

And right around the corner was an Easter basket!

CHOCOLATE?!

Nom Nom Nom...

What are these "Peeps" things?

Mommy?  Can you please open the Peeps?

We had a fun Sunday of sugar highs and basically no naps.

But how can you argue with that smile?

Thanks for looking!

Oh.  One last thing...

Zoe ended Easter Sunday with this little surprise.

She opened a plastic egg and put it over her eyes.

We were laughing so hard I couldn't take a clear picture.

But I got this one.

Love to you all.
