February to May 2018

Well, the great tour of grandparents continued throughout February, into March...
and even into April!

Grandma and Grandpa had so much fun getting to know Jake,
and Jake had lots of special time with them, too.

Then Grammie came to visit!

Then Grandad came out and took Zoe to the Zoo!

The baby Flamingos heard that Grandad's a big bird person and
asked us to come have lunch with them!

Here's a quick video of our time with our new friends!

Back at home, Zoe and Jake have been getting along famously.

She loves reading to him and giving him hugs and kisses.

Jake just loves the attention.

But all that attention makes him tired!

One afternoon he passed out in his big sister's bed.

In fact, he's been sleeping just about everywhere!

(Thank God!)

Jake says it's time for Easter!

Zoe and Jake got to go to a local Easter party
where she got to pet some bunnies...

...and hunt for eggs...

...and climb this giant thing...

...and then slide down this giant thing!

Zoe still loves going for walks in our neighborhood.

She's been taking walks for so long, she has a bunch of friends
who love walking with her!

One of them even followed her home!

Handsome devil, ain't he?

Meanwhile, Jake has been working on his smile.

He's getting pretty good at it -- this is what we're greeted
with when he wakes up in the morning!

Good morning, Jake!

Best part is, he's starting to sleep through the night!

Recently he's started to laugh.

A lot.

Problem is, every time he does, he gives himself
the hiccups.

A few weeks ago Zoe and I got to take another special trip
behind the scenes at the Zoo.

We were lucky enough to meet a Mama Okapi and her baby!

Then a peacock named Kevin (they're all named Kevin)
put on a show for Zoe!

This was the encore...

Zoe was honored to be the flower girl in Erin and Adam's wedding.

Erin bought Zoe the most beautiful dress.

Zoe did a great job and everyone said she looked so beautiful.

She even got out on the dance floor and got things started!

A great time was had by all.

Zoe and Daddy have been having lots of fun together.

Sometimes we goof off at the dinner table...

Brought to you by Honey Bunches of Oats.

...and sometimes we just horse around.

Sometimes when Mommy is getting her hair cut...and her nails done...
and her feet massaged...and time seems to stand still for hours and hours
Zoe and I go to the park together.

But my absolute favorite thing to do is take Zoe to Descanso Gardens.

I took this video so you could feel like you're right there with us.

Hope it brought a smile.

Stay tuned for more adventures!
