Just a quick update

Just a quick update this week.

Zoe spent the weekend visiting her four-
legged friends around our neighborhood.

That actually looks low enough for her to climb on...

Mommy and Zoe called to these mustangs...

...and this lovely lady came over for some rubs!

Back home we video chatted with Grandma and Grandpa.

Zoe wanted to show them how good she is on her polar bear!

She can even dis-mount by herself!

And last night our friends John and JJ came over and brought
the most delicious dinner!

Zoe finished her plate so we gave her some strawberry shortcake.

Then John and JJ gave Zoe a Christmas present!

Laker stuff!

Who is more excited...Zoe or Mommy?!

 She loves it!!!

John and JJ also brought Lucy and Desi.

Zoe was so happy they did!

Just look at that smile.

Today Zoe got all dressed up in her pretty Steeler dress.

And it brought us some luck -- we won!

That's it for this week -- see you next week!

It's December -- that means it's time to party!

Happy December, everyone!

The tree is up, the lights are lit, and Zoe can't wait for Christmas.

Zoe made a new friend at the Zoo this week.

Her opinion, as far as friends go, is the bigger the better.

Looks like these two are best friends.

Zoe also found the marble game at the Zoo.

So much fun!

Zoe had so much fun at the Zoo -- and she gives Mommy a big kiss to say thanks!

Mommy, thank you for taking me to the Zoo!  Kisses!

Mid-week Zoe always finds ways of keeping herself entertained.

Daddy was less than happy with this one...but still took time to snap a pic.

Hey.  Zoe.

She totally knows.

Then Daddy's Uncle Doug and Aunt Laurie come to visit from Indianapolis.

Zoe was thrilled to see them.  And even more thrilled
with Aunt Laurie's super fun zipper!

Note the shoes.

Uncle Doug was nice enough to man the camera.

Later that night Zoe was playing at the park when a surprise visitor appeared.

What's that in the distance?

Zoe ran over to see if it was a mirage.

No mirage -- it was Lacie and she loves to let toddlers pet her!

Zoe also figured out that she can climb into her Nuna Leaf.

It's so much fun to just kick back and relax!

It's important to have a place to go where you can just relax.

Here is a video of her playing in the Leaf.

We've been encouraging her to clean up after herself.
Looks like all that work is paying off.

On Saturday Zoe was invited to TWO PARTIES!

First she went to Long Beach to see her friend Ayo turn 3 years old!

And they had balloons!

Ayo's grandmother and Zoe had fun playing with the balloons.

Zoe even got some cake!

No time to smile -- eating cake is serious business.

Some day when Zoe's older she can venture into the House of Bounce.

Gotta be careful to not bounce too high or you might wind up in the ocean.

Then it was back to Burbank for a quick wardrobe change before venturing to Party #2.

I love the look in her eyes her -- so mischievous.

Doesn't she look pretty in her party dress?!

And look at that smile.

Zoe ate two samosas and an empanada at the party.

She and Mommy curled up by the 'fire.'

Zoe was quite popular -- everyone at the parties loved her!

But all that entertaining takes its toll.

The back seat was unusually quiet on the ride home.

That's it for this week -- see you next week!

Happy Hanukkah!

Osh Kosh...B'gosh!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Every day Zoe and Mommy stand at the window and
watch Daddy leave for work.

Together they wave goodbye...and because Daddy
drives a convertible he can wave back!

After a while Zoe began asking for a convertible of her own.
We told her she can buy whatever kind of car she wants,
but she's going to be responsible for the payments.

So she got this:

Zoe and her first car.

In order to make her car payments Zoe has started a dog walking business.

Here she is walking Lucy, one of her most loyal customers.

Zoe relaxes after a hard day at work on her zebra.

Zoe loves to get dressed, put on her shoes, and go out shopping with us.

Here we are waiting for Mommy to get her flu shot.

Hey Mom -- don't be scared!  I got TWO flu shots this year!

Mommy's okay.  Hahaha!

Zoe always loves the food I make...
especially when it's intended for Mommy.

Luckily Mommy is quite generous with sharing her food.

Mmmmmm...Mommy's sandwich is SO GOOD!

At 15 months Zoe also figured out how to drink from her own glass.

Zoe's friends Judy and Jay got her this beautiful and soft Unicorn.
She loves it!

It's so soft and snuggly!

Here is a video of the night we brought it home:

Judy was also nice enough to give Zoe her haircut!

Zoe looks so pretty!

It's been getting dark earlier and the temperature has been dropping.

Zoe loves to get all bundled up against the bitter cold.
Sometimes it drops into the 50s!  Brrrrr!

Zoe is ready for the ice and snow that comes with mid-50's temperatures.

These days, Zoe tends to have the park all to herself.

Swinging with Mommy is so much fun.

Zoe loves watching Tennis while she's at the park.
One night we went down and played on the court!

Zoe is in training to be a ball girl.

And there's always time for a dance party with Mom.

The other place Zoe frequents is the LA Zoo!

She loves visiting her giraffes.

And those river otters are so funny!

Hey, Dad -- can you hear the otters squeaking?!

And sometimes the monkeys come right up to the window!

Zoe loves making new friends.  The bigger the better!

Zoe invited her friend, Anna, to join her at the Zoo.

Mommy and Zoe always end their day at the carousel.

Zoe and Mommy also go to Kids Club each week where
Zoe gets to play with her friend, Rhys.

They love to hang out together.

It helps that Zoe's mommy and Rhys' mommy are such great friends, too!

And finally -- Zoe got to celebrate her second Thanksgiving this year!

Look at all that yummy stuff!

Why can't every day be Thanksgiving?

This cranberry stuff is sticky!

Daddy?  Is there more of this...pie?

Zoe and JJ took a selfie.

Aww, group hugs are so much fun, right, John?

 Hope you enjoyed the pics!
With love from the North Pole...
