It's December -- that means it's time to party!

Happy December, everyone!

The tree is up, the lights are lit, and Zoe can't wait for Christmas.

Zoe made a new friend at the Zoo this week.

Her opinion, as far as friends go, is the bigger the better.

Looks like these two are best friends.

Zoe also found the marble game at the Zoo.

So much fun!

Zoe had so much fun at the Zoo -- and she gives Mommy a big kiss to say thanks!

Mommy, thank you for taking me to the Zoo!  Kisses!

Mid-week Zoe always finds ways of keeping herself entertained.

Daddy was less than happy with this one...but still took time to snap a pic.

Hey.  Zoe.

She totally knows.

Then Daddy's Uncle Doug and Aunt Laurie come to visit from Indianapolis.

Zoe was thrilled to see them.  And even more thrilled
with Aunt Laurie's super fun zipper!

Note the shoes.

Uncle Doug was nice enough to man the camera.

Later that night Zoe was playing at the park when a surprise visitor appeared.

What's that in the distance?

Zoe ran over to see if it was a mirage.

No mirage -- it was Lacie and she loves to let toddlers pet her!

Zoe also figured out that she can climb into her Nuna Leaf.

It's so much fun to just kick back and relax!

It's important to have a place to go where you can just relax.

Here is a video of her playing in the Leaf.

We've been encouraging her to clean up after herself.
Looks like all that work is paying off.

On Saturday Zoe was invited to TWO PARTIES!

First she went to Long Beach to see her friend Ayo turn 3 years old!

And they had balloons!

Ayo's grandmother and Zoe had fun playing with the balloons.

Zoe even got some cake!

No time to smile -- eating cake is serious business.

Some day when Zoe's older she can venture into the House of Bounce.

Gotta be careful to not bounce too high or you might wind up in the ocean.

Then it was back to Burbank for a quick wardrobe change before venturing to Party #2.

I love the look in her eyes her -- so mischievous.

Doesn't she look pretty in her party dress?!

And look at that smile.

Zoe ate two samosas and an empanada at the party.

She and Mommy curled up by the 'fire.'

Zoe was quite popular -- everyone at the parties loved her!

But all that entertaining takes its toll.

The back seat was unusually quiet on the ride home.

That's it for this week -- see you next week!

Happy Hanukkah!

Osh Kosh...B'gosh!

  1. Another wonderful blog! Zoe is just adorable and doing all of the creative things that a toddler should do even emptying the kitchen drawer. I love the dressed up picture. She looks so grown up. Well actually I love all of the pictures and the videos are priceless. Thank you again for taking the time to keep us up-to-date on Zoe's adventures :) Hugs and kisses from Grammie

  2. Just love these pictures and videos... she is turning out to have an amazing, fun-loving personality. Grandad has his work cut out for him... thinking about new things to teach her to do to have even more fun. The plastic bags are an absolute classic (way to go girl!). Of course, the Oshkosh bib overalls are fantastic for her. Can't wait to see my sweetie again (oh and Mom and Dada too!). Luv ya! and Miss ya! (Always and Forever!) Lots of hugs and kisses from Grandad!

  4. Loved all the pictures and the little videos are so fun to see. She has quite the little personality! I cannot imagine how you would keep a straight face with the baggies all over the floor - especially with cheesy face lol. Loved seeing her in all the cute things I have gotten for her. The dress and shoes look fabulous on her :) Just like I knew they would. Looking forward to when I can spend time and play with her again, hopefully real soon! Love and misses, Aunt Meme. <3
